Tinnoset Sag AS was founded in 1991 by builder Bjørn Asgeir Andersen and is a special sawmill for cutting and planing coarse quality timber from East Telemark for logging and restoration.
The timber comes from the local area, and the sellers are environmentally certified and can document the work’s origin through the ISO 14001 certificate, which is based on Levende Skog’s standards.
Our location is at the southern end of Lake Tinnsjøen in East Telemark, in the middle of one of the best forest districts in the country.
Tinnoset Sag AS is a company with 6 employees that cuts 8000 cubic meters of lumber annually, as of today we have customers throughout southern Norway. We have a large network of contacts with builders and logging companies.
